    New Rule: 20 Second Count Out?

    Discuss how a 20 second count out would have changed some of the greatest fights in history. Discuss how this fantasy "new" rule could be beneficial to fighters and discuss how and why it could be dangerous.

    Eg, Mike Tyson would have gotten up from the final Buster Douglas knock down and would have beat Busta.

          Dangerous!

          But awesome! It would be nuts to see someone out for 10, get 5 to recover a little, and make it back up by 20 count... I dont know how it would affect some of history's fights, but it sure sounds dangerous and exciting! lol

              Douglas was winning the Tyson fight, it wouldn't have changed anything really.

              Meldrick Taylor may have got the decision over Chavez.

                  Hell yehhhhh it would be dangerous, but the excitement would be out of this world!!!! Just imagine Cotto taking 2 knees against Margarito, roughly 38 seconds to recover, and then imagine him come back to brutally knock him out?

                      Oh man, i disagree. When Don King was counting the seconds when they made the appeal, Tyson got up at 9 seconds but they counted him out!!

                      I guess we'll never know, maybe you're right though, Tyson probably would have got stopped on his feet coz i reckon his heart and pride would have got him up before 10 seconds.

                                  no way man a lot of fights woulda ended up in a decision
                                  if anything we need smaller gloves like teh ones from mma
