As per my post earlier today, what evidence is there that MMA guys are the superior fighters? Every boxer who has made the switch to MMA has been grossly shopworn and way past their prime and therefore displaying none of their early career athleticism, which is 100% required to compete in the octagon.
It is ludicrous to write of pacquiao's chance in the octagon so definitively and would suggest you know almost zero about boxing or MMA and are solely driven by your bias.
Need I remind you again of ray mercer's destruction of tim sylvia?

Berto probably would do well considering his brother is a MMA fighter and his dad's gym is more of a MMA focus than just boxing. Like was said earlier, most boxers even for small promotions, make more money than MMA fighters and it'll be a while before the money catches up.

          Pacquiao is a Natural Athlete!!!

After Fighting Mayweather and no fighter left for him to fight in boxing, I'd like Pac to try fight in MMA against the best guy in his weight~~~

          It would be huge fight!
Imagine you combine Boxing Fans & MMA Fans...
I think it would break all PPV Records!!!

But there's should be Rematch Clause...
If Pac lost, they should fight in boxing...

Fact is, Manny would get destroyed in MMA and its no different to other elite boxers like Mayweather etc. Grip strength LOL? Yeah that's the secret to success in MMA. Go out and try MMA and boxing instead of posting with Manny's nuts in your mouth, you'll quickly realize how wrong you are.
see how ignorant, shallow and narrow minded you are, you have just read the words grip and "kick" in thai kick boxing you already presumed that hell just stand there and wait or hold. and look at what you wrote is that your reply to what you understood? daymn you are one presumptous idiot. do you understand what im saying, moreso what your replies are? and you presume that because im posting in the internet im like just a kid that does nothing but surf. son ive been there and done that, i was into judo and i boxed in high school.

here read it all over again:

"manny loves challenges, he often challenges himself, he will treat trying mma as fun. he's a competitive spirit, nobody can stop him if he thinks he should fight in MMA. who says that manny doesnt have ground skills, look at his hands they are not only boxers hands theyre construction workers hands, peons, and bakers at that those years of working is training proved beneficial to him and will also be a big help when he decides to fight in MMA. i bet you those MMA fighters doesnt have the same grip strength manny has. what damage can they do when manny gripped and grpple with them? besides taking down manny is not that easy, manny knows thai kick boxing."

He might actually do well in MMA with the correct training.

He'd be crazy fast with those gloves. Plus didn't he kickbox or something before?

uhh I think Manny would be good in MMA, my one problem would be is if he went to UFC and won I would have to admit that I respect the guy and Id have to become a fan of his, which as a Floyd fan just seems eerie.

Toney didnt show anything. Toney tripped over his own feet and then sat on his ass and laid on his back as another old man punched him in the face. Toney didnt train he went in with one thought, "I will catch him with my fists." Pacman would take it seriously and hes not old and fat.

I dont see himd oing this as hed get paid little, have to work even harder and isnt he busy being a congressman.

the only problem is, the lightest weight class in UFC, the lightweight division is 155 pounds... most of those guys are cutting from 170ish... pac WALKS AROUND without training or dieting after a fight for a few months at maybe 153... when pac actually is in fighting condition, he is about 148.. and that 148 is still too big for him, he has to add more body fat than he should be carrying, just to weigh that much... he probably really should be a lightweight.

Promotional stunt. Get MMA involved to hype the fight.

Pac would be taken down on his back and embarrassed. I love boxing every day of the week more than MMA but an MMA fighter is all around good where a boxer is great at standing up and throwing punches. Take away there feet and its done.

Pac would be embarrassed and I know Dana White wouldn't put him in with a chump. It would be vs his best wrestler just like couture vs Toney. Boxer vs a wrestler. Worst match up. At least White could have got Chuck Ledell. Then it would have been exciting as they both like to stand up.

As for Pac. He would have a punchers running chance. A flying knee kick or some other kind of kick and it would be lights out let alone being taken down and choked out.

I would still pay for it and cheer for Manny. It would sell and make LOTS of money. That's for sure. But boxing IMO would end up looking bad. MMA should step over in boxing. Then again its hard for them to make big money and big events because sadly of how boxing is today.

but manny is so ****ing athletically blessed, he could learn and probably master THE BASIC aspects of clinching, grappling, and wrestling after 2 years... after 6-8 months of training he could beat the average joe MMA'ers... give him 5 years, and he could literally be the best in his class... BUT he would have to fight in the WEC's 145 pound class.. urijah faber actually made that division popular for a while, but he has been getting his ass kicked left and right lately.. so 145 is really wide open.. and a very entertaining weight class, cause the dudes are so much faster than the heavier classes... ****, turn pac loose and he would ****ing RING SOME HEADS
