They should bring it to NY..HBO knows the winner will be more marketable with a win in the states..An there is a big chance Con loses this fight too so they really don't want to have it in the UK...

I'm English and use to live just outside Detroit (15th Mile) and went into the city quite regularly to watch the Tigers, jump across the bridge to Canada and out to the odd bar.....I can safely say the the city centre is like hell on earth after dark! I never felt safe unless I was around Comerica Park where it was lite up!

Any English fans will be in for a suprise if they think they can go over there and mouth off to the Americans in Detroit! Bullets WILL fly!

I have gotten into plenty of aruguments and still..nothing. JayZ and Em just did a concert last night and it was jumping out here...and again....NOTHING. I was never shot at either haha, it was meant to be a funny exaggeration. All I really meant was that it is rough, (highest knife and gun crime in america when I was there) and if these knob head footie hooligan "fans" go over there in their masses then they will get knocked down a few pegs....

Khan's fans aren't footie hooligans. Not all British boxing fans are football hooligans. And no British person in their right mind would want to travel to Detroit for the reasons you stated.

May as well do it in Detroit it's something different than the norm. Don't do it in the UK because the whole reason Amir went to America is so he could be a name there, fighting in the UK is a backwards step.
