I've seen far worst if you like heavyweights than this is your card. Tua and McCline should be interesting to say the least as well as the Briggs fight. Shannon looked spectacular last time out he possessed speed and power and looked really good on his feet.

It's decent, I read the article and I quickly read it and though Tua and McCline would have gotten it on. I was a bit excited when I read that.

30 bucks isnt bad, I have paid for worst.


The whole card has a bit of interest to it but not much but enough to get my money.

McCline will battle Steve Pannell (34-8-0, 28 KO's), another strapping 6-4 righthander fighting out of Salem, ******ia.

Thats an awesome come back for Tua it will present a VERY difficult challenge for him. A guy that big might give him trouble so that will be the interesting part I guess.

Each of those fighters is on the come back trail so those fights are acceptable I guess. McCline really needs it more than any of them though his confidence is shattered and he could still be a top 5 contender if he wouldnt be afraid.


I can see why people will dislike it but atleast it isnt 50 bucks...Kushner is known for these Heavyweight ppvs though and I order them for $19.99 with far worst fighters so this isnt to bad. But nothing for the casual fan for sure.

Plus all of the "name" heavyweights on this card are all pretty decent punchers so we might see some good knockouts. God knows we havent seen that in a long time in the HW division.

The reason that every fight worth anything is on PPV these days is because people pay for stuff like this. It is a good card, but it is not near as good as the Ike Quartey-Verno Phillips, Glenn Johnson-Antonio Tarver 2 card or the upcoming September 24th card that HBO will have for free.

If people would stop ordering cards like this on PPV, and reserve PPV for the truly big fights, boxing would be a lot better off.

These are decent fights for the reasons they are being presented. But no network will pick them up, Not a lot of people in the business get along with Kushner when it comes to television which is why it is presented on his heavyweight heroes ppv.

This would be a decent card for ESPN or Fox Sports if they really wanted to enhance their programming. But it isnt going to happen, because each heavyweight will get a decent payday nothing spectacular but nothing a network would want to help pay.
