Tyson would have killed Sapp, even out of his prime. Sapp is so slow and hardly kicks, it's virtually a boxing match. Tyson would've ducked and dodged and actually sexually assulted Sapp in the ring.

I've seen like 5 fights of Bob Sapp, he never kicks. It would be an easy win for Tyson. I saw the video of when Mike stepped in the ring at Battle at the Bellagio, sapp was pretty ****in intimidated while Tyson was just smiling and laughing at him

When will people get off Tyson nuts?

          Tyson oculdn't take out McBride!

McBride wouldn't last 3 rounds with Sapp in K1

              I wholeheartedly agree...Tyson would eat Sapp's lunch...

Plus, a shoot is not the be-all, end-all of a street fight. U duck ur head, expose ur back (ie. spinal cord, brain stem, etc.) and take it to the ground where a Mike Tyson will take your eyes out, literally...

he's pretty much just intimidation, nobody wants to fight a 360 pound 6'4 black guy. His fights were rather lame his punches weren't anything spectacular, rarely threw combos, and took many shots. Kimo ****in knocked him down and Sapp has like 120 pounds on him

I watched that fight, Sapp threw a total of 3-4 kicks throughout the whole fight. That's considered never in a sport like kickboxing...

Have any of you had a street fight??

If you put a good boxer against a good MMA fighter the boxer wins, i used to do a lot of kickboxing and Muay Thai, i was considered to be very good but boxing was something different, being hit so fast and hard was nothing like i'd ever done before.

If i ever spar at one of my old gym i have to go looking for the opponent, a boxers footwork can get them in range so quickly and even if you do take a few kicks it doesnt hurt, its only hitting your legs and arms. i havent been for a while but the last time i sparred in was doing san shou, my opponent smashed his feet so badly on my elbows he couldnt walk never mind fight, kicks put him at a disadvantage.

Boxers punch far harder than any other combat fighters, Boxers are far more accurate with counter punches, kicks dont even hurt and just make your footwork slow, even if a boxer get taken down were talking about a street fight!! Rules go out the window, thats when pieces of face gets bitten off, try doing a choke hold when you know your nose is missing

Keep in mind when this was in the news it was like 4 years ago, so Tyson was in better shape. Oh, but I'm glad you found 1 picture of Sapp actually lifting his fat leg off the ground. Being full muscle doesn't help since he punches at the speed of ****.
