lol, the hypocrisy of ppl knows no ends. if this isnt a cherrypicked fight then i dunno what is. but manny gets the pass of course because he's manny, where in reailty the truth is his **** stinks almost as much as floyd's.

I wouldn't say it's a cherry picked fight for ease.

      Maybe for money...

It's definitely cherry picked by Bob Arum, I know that much.

        I dissagree.

Margarito is still not a star in the US.

This is not a big fight. I watch Friday night fights and crap streams on telemundo. Watching this fight doesnt mean its a big fight.

Reed I tell you this though if the 24/7 is hot. Then it will get pretty big. HBO has to do it right.

Disagree... it's going to be a big fight.

Pac Clottey can sell 700k.. and Clottey has 12 fans in the entire country.

Pac Marg will crack 1 mill.

it's not even a question. Pac-Margarito will be huge. Not to mention this might set the record for the most attendance for a boxing fight in the U.S. history. wouldn't that be a sight to behold??

                I agree. It's a highly marketable fight.

It's funny how Margarito has one bad fight and people are so willing to discount him.

He only fought 15 times for titles, and was hell for anyone up until his fight before last.

I think it will do great numbers and be action packed with no back peddling or dancing.

I think fans can see that and I think it will be one of the more interesting 24/7's in a long time.

There's people who think Margarito doesn't deserve a shot at Pacquiao. There's people who think Margarito is guilty of nothing.

There's people who think this fight is a travesty, and there's people who think this fight is going to be an exciting battle between two supreme fighters.

Did he wrap his hands for Cotto?

Did he know his hands were wrapped?

Did he even have plaster in his gloves or even deserve that one year ban?

                    Should he be banned forever?

                    One thing is undeniable.

Everyone on this forum, anyone who watches boxing, other boxers and sports analysts themselves..... Everyone, has an opinion on Antonio Margarito.

Some of you want to see him fail miserably. You want Pacquiao to punish Margarito for the entire boxing community. Some of you want to see Margarito rise above everything against him and come out victorious. You want him to shove it everyone's face by beating Manny Pacquiao.

Whichever way you may feel.... You're all going to watch him fight.

One way or another, everyone has an opinion on how they would prefer this fight turns out.

And now... The most controversial fighter in the sport, is about to fight the most exciting fighter in the sport.

I'll watch, you'll watch..... and so will everyone else.
Reed, I will only watch this travesty if Pacquiao wins by KO. The argument could be made that I am not a Boxing fan if I don't. That's fine. This fight is sickening me, so maybe the luster is wearing off for me a bit. I dunno. I am principled and my feelings tell me that repudiating this event is the only real option for me...at least until I read that Pacquiao punished and knocked this fool out.
