Never seen that show but I wiki'd it and yeah it is based in the D. People get a bad vibe about the D but they never been here. Our downtown is nice and infact our city is the movie capital of the world now. More movies are shot in Detroit and the state of Michigan than they are shot anywhere else in the world. I think it would be great if the fight landed here and would certainly build Khans popularity with the big population of ******s in metro Detroit.

This fight makes more money in England than it does in the US. Having this fight on at a silly time will lose Khan a lot of UK PPV money or money from ITV if it's on in the morning rather than Saturday night.

Khan's the draw in this fight, not having this fight in Bolton or Manchester is bizarre.

Why would Khan even consider fighting in England ever again? He is beyond the British domestic scene, Not only that every time he fights he gets racists that go to his fight and shout racist slogans and throw beer bottles at him. Khan should only be fighting in America, I believe that after Maidana fight, Khan will be on HBO PPV.

That being said Detriot is not a bad place, If it does take place it will probably be held at the Cobo center or the Joe Lous arena.
