If it were up to me, all the hype would be stripped from any Mayweather fight until he's ready to fight.

Nothing an attention whore hates more than being ignored.
I'm sure the hype Pacquiao was gettin' really bothered him during his retirement. Wish he would stop acting like Pacquiao is the only option out there.

it did. pac getting fighter of the decade was the last straw for floyd. there was even video of floyd complaining why pac got it & not him.

& of the day, floyd really messed up retiring after beating ricky.

when he retired, the welterweight division, his division since 2005, was the hottest, most loaded division in all of boxing. he had prime cotto, prime margarito, younger shane, berto, collazo, prime paul williams, clottey.

he chose to retire instead & pacquiao picked up the kingship & captivated boxing fans. floyd has nobody to blame but himself. he left the door open for pac.

exactly, these critics have a hard time giving the champ his due. i cannot think of one fighter that would have beat Floyd, maybe the vernon forest that beat shane would have been interesting, but please name anyone else you would have put money on?

im collecting my money may memorabilia as i type this because i know it will be worth something in the future.

Pacquiao ran through his last 2 opponents, of course it bothered him. I don't want to see them ruin the biggest fight since De La Hoya-Trinidad by fighting a Martinez or Williams TBH, so I don't want to see them fight anyone but each other until then.

Whoever loses Pacquiao-Mayweather will still be able to do 500K every time out and if it's against the best opponent out, you better believe 1M+.

Pacquiao took a risk by letting Floyd fight Shane who was considered by Freddie AND Bob Arum as being the better man.

Once Floyd weathered the storm against Shane, Team Pacquiao became eerily silent.

Bob never wanted anything to do with Floyd after Floyd left his stable to make history.

what a horrible mentality. dwyer just basically said what all fans were thinking. floyd wants pac to go through wars & get soften up before he gets to him.

Probably, probably not, I don't know. I don't hold it against anyone who retires. His life.

That doesnt make sense. Its not like Pac has to fight, he can retire today and live comfortably. Another thing is he's already been through some wars so that has nothing to do with why they havent fought. The only reason is the random testing.

This is becoming so apparent now but people will still say it isn't so for whatever reason. Floyd has never, ever pulled this stuff before and all of a sudden.....bam, Mr. Excuses shows up! This fight won't take place, yet people will still hate on Pac for fighting other guys.....why hate him when the guy people want him to fight keeps coming up with reasons not to fight.

His own people tried to make the fight and Floyd refused....that was the disagreement that led to him leaving and trying to sign with someone else.

**edit: he has used the retiring thing before but not all this other stuff
