Actually its a very smart move by top rank. i dont know what your background is in education but mine is in Business Mgmt. let me tell you something idiot, there is gonna be no more than 1 puerto rican or mexican thats a fight fan thats gonna refuse to attend cotto vs jcc jr because the undercard doesnt have many other puerto ricans or mexicans. maybe 500 or so fringe fans will attend if a specific fighter is showcased, but thats not gonna make or break top rank. Top Rank has been around a 100 years and they know what theyre doing, its a delicate task but they do it greatly... Cotto vs chavez is gonna sell itself and doesnt need all these puerto rican and mexican fighters, and remember a fight card consists of sometimes up to10 fights... so you expect bob arum to find 8 - 10 other top rank based puerto ricans and mexicans to stage the show full of only mexicans and puerto ricans??? you sound ****** my son... top rank has a job to do and its job is to showcase its fighters that it has under contract... and yes top rank thinks highly enough of Vanes that they gave him a new 5 year contract back in April... Top Rank is not Miguel Cotto promotions where all its fighters are puerto ricans, can you get that through you thick skull or not... it has many fighters but maybe a few of them are puerto ricans and some of those may not be able to fight on those cards due to other commitments and scheduling conflicts. youre just an idiot fan that wants to see puerto ricans only when you pay your $50 to buy a ticket, but guess what regardless if its a puerto rican fighting on the under card or Vanes youre still gonna go, because youre not going for the undercard, youre going for the main event and thats true for 98% of the crowd...

PS. if Vanes lost to Ouma, then sure as heck Cotto lost Clottey... so get off it its almost been a year since that fight, and no vanes did not lose that fight, he won 6-4 and i gave it a 95-94 score... go watch the again and judge it as 10 3 minute rounds instead of one big fight... remember thats how boxing is judged... but its okay with all these people not getting off vanes' balls about the ouma fight, that only means he matters and you guys care... so go suck it!!!!

Dzinziruk would win this fairly comfortably IMO.

I'd be surprised if Vanes does anything other than talk about getting in the ring with him. He'll probably wait until an easy belt or a big money fight opens up and then go for that instead.
