During a recent appearance on BBC Radio, former super middleweight champion Carl Froch confirmed BoxingScene.com's reports from a few weeks ago on the direction of the Super Six Boxing Classic. With the unexpected withdrawal of Mikkel Kessler, the remaining bouts between Froch and Abraham and Andre Dirrell vs. Andre Ward will become part of the semi-finals and Allan Green will be dropped from the competition. Kessler, unable to fight for nine months due to an eye injury, will vacate his WBC title. I think that it's a disgrace that two fighters from different countries settled their dispute to fight in athird country (Froch vs AA), whereas two fighters from the same country still have nothing to offer for the public and us fans (Ward vs Dirrell). -

If Abraham or Froch win they will happily fight Kessler for big money in Europe. If Ward wins he will just vacate the WBC title before wasting his time beating a guy he has already completely dominated.Comment
