November 13, 2010 we have Pacquiao vs Margarito, a fight that should and would have been looked at as a fascinating battle between two great warriors but is now covered by the cloud of ridicule and disgust due to the Margarito hand wrap scandal. OK, first of all I think we need to look at the facts and only the facts! The only fact we know of is that Margarito had the plaster hand wraps on going into the mosley fight. I feel he was dead wrong for this if he knew what was going on with his hand wraps but there is no way to know for sure. Nobody knows for sure outside of Margarito, his trainer, and GOD! All everyone else can do is assume or speculate so I pose this question, What IF? What if Margarito didn't know his hands were wrapped illegally? What if his trainer really did it on his on and without Margarito having knowledge of it? What if Margarito really beat up one of my favorite boxers of all time Miguel Cotto fair and square? What if all Margarito's victories in the ring are all legit, tried, and true? It seems that whenever someone faces adversity in their life especially if they have any level of celebrity at all, society loves to jump on the hate ban wangon! I think we should not be so quick to pass judgement on our brother and realize that noone is perfect. Now I'm not saying that Margarito is innocent but what im saying is we don't know if he is truly guilty. I believe in karma! If u do something to cause harm to someone or do something u know is wrong you will see it again. Meaning if Margarito really did this bad thing he will receive his judgement! Lastly, What if this fight turns out to be a classic and you did not watch it due to assumtions? Im a true boxing fan and I am gonna watch this fight! I believe that Margarito will fight the fight of his life for one because he has so much to prove and a win would erase much of the hate he feels right now! I also believe due to his fighting style and that of Manny he want have a choice but to fight hard to stay alive!
IM OUT!
IM OUT!
Right away that crossed my mind when I glanced at the thread.
