    1. He would have to Lose speed too add weight! Thus making him rely more on his boxing ability.

    2. He would significently lose his power advantage.

    3. He would have to learn how to managed the time in rounds to be to survived the natural disadvantaged of fighting a bigger man, which is the gradual wear down of weight advantaged as time goes on.

    4. He would have to legitimately have to learn how to worry about his legs being able to last in a 12 round fight with a bigger man instead of a weight drain opponent having to worry about his legs being gone after the 4th round.

These are the RISK Pacquiao refuse to take in order to recieve the REWARD of an 154 pound title.!!

Where is the Glory in FEAR of failure.

THIS FIGHT IS THE COWARDS REWARD..!!
so if MArg was ok to weigh in at 154, and Manny basically came in at any weight he can make but not making the 154 (eg. 147/150) would that be ok with you?

is this what you need to give it any credit or legitimacy?

The same reason he didn't fight Manny.

It would have been "easy work".

Funny how Floyd claims these guys are easy, but won't dare step into a ring with them and make that money.

They will be using 8-oz gloves in this fight.

Makes it a little more interesting.

Also, the fight will feature 10 oz gloves as opposed to 8 right? That will stunt Pacquiao's power and adding on more weight might expose his physical barrier. I mean, there has to be a limit where too much weight= lower speed and possibly power. He has to eat like 5 meals/day and pack on the protein just to make 145, now they want to come in at 149ish for the weigh-in.

This may have been a mistake on Pac's team to accept the fight higher than welter.
          Nope. 8-oz gloves.

Marg is going to get his brain scrambled. I think people will be calling for this fight to be stopped by the 8th.

Somewhat agree on this but hey this is the closest Pac can get and in short amount of time.

But the question is will he have more heart than De La Hoya? Will he have more in the tank to keep up with Pacquiao's stamina?

I think so. Against Mosley he went out on his shield, so unless Pacquiao has enough power to tee off on Margarito and actually put him out, I see Pacquiao winning a tougher decision, or Margarito finally avenging his Mexican brethren.

Taking all bets 100,000k Margarito over Pacquiao. PM me.

                    You are right.

You can add, due to Margarito last 2 performance, that he is done, he doesn't have the KO power anymore. Just watch the fights.
