i like how ppl have to look for a reason as to why boxing is in the state it is rite now. sure floyd doesnt do what we ant him to do, but can u blame him for looking after himself??? as fans we all wanna say hes a punk, a *****, etc. but out of all of the top fighters who have ever fought, how many of them experienced any glory, wealth, etc. after their careers ended? instead, these guys usually wind up broke and in poor health. its sad really, and all the fans can do is reminisce about these guys while lamenting the poor state they wound up in.

boxing is not much different from being a drug dealer if u asked me. sure u have all the fame and glory while you are on top, but when it's all gone, u pay the price. just remember all of that the next time we start hating a fighter for not doing something we want him to do.

The sport won't be better or worse when Floyd retires. It'll be the same as it's been for a while now. There are so many other fighters out there that bring excitement to the sport both veteran and up coming stars. For me personally, there is too much going on in the sport to place my concern on any one fighter. Whether it be Floyd, Margarito, Pacquiao, Mosley, or any other single person.

Mosley would have been a threat a couple of months after tony or a few years earlier. Mosley was out the ring for over a year and was dead old when he fought floyd. Also in the oscar fight, floyd didnt dominate or win in very convincing fasion! He won yes, but he sure didnt do a number or batter oscar.

Also this money in the sport is ruining it! If floyd and manny just boxed each other like real men then boxing would get a huge coverage across the world that it needs.

Honestly it would be nice if you utilized google and other online resources. Maybe you would be worth a damn as a poster. All I ever see you do is suck Floyd off in every thread.
