will boxing be better when floyd retires?

I know i'll get flamed for this but floyd has continually backed out of fights with fighters that possed any type of chance against him? He never fought tony whilst he was in his prime, Cotto, mosley, p williams and now manny! I know Manny is very suspect but the others he had no excuse to not fight when they were knocking on his door. Instead he fought, oscar who was shot, ricky hatton, and not to mention baldomir (club fighter)

If and when floyd retires which he will soon, I believe boxing will be better! You have fighters like bradley and the 140 who all want to fight the to prove they are champs. Also We will get a huge star from who ever wins the super six. Do any of you agree??

It will be better if he loses first before he retires though. Yes him avoiding Cotto, and margarito was bad because he has denied history some potentially entertaining fights. So what he is fighting still for is anyones guess?

All he does is talk a lot but no action. If he retires people will still talk a lot but there will be action as well.

It just dismays me that the two greatest fighters of our generation refuse to fight!!!!! they could break every PPV record ever and make more money in one fight than if they fought 3 other fights against other fighters. Hopefully they'll fight and once they have they'll both retire and hopefully allow other fighters to take there place.

In regards to the chap who spoke about khan becoming the next 'money' fighter. Only fighting for big bucks. Its obvious with khan that he wants as much $$ as poss becuase in his heart of hearts he knows eventually he'll have to step up and fight someone who can ****, and in doing so know's he'll get ko'd atleast one more time.
