i joke around about it but it's all in fun. the only thing i have a problem with is him "retiring"

sharmba was his first fight at 147. a tuneup for a new division is nothing new. floyd's not the only that has done it. pac fighting diaz his 1st fight at 135 is a good example.

zab just lost but he was still a top fighter and they did plan the fight when zab hadn't lost yet.

baldomir isn't very good but it's not floyd's fault zab's dumb ass loss the lineal title to him.

hatton was the #1 guy at 140 and had won a belt at 147 PLUS he was big money. i don't see why people have a problem with it.

my issue was he retired instead of fighting marg and cotto.

the tuneup with sharmba , the fight with zab and baldo , the big money matches with ricky and oscar...... i'm okay with it.

but when he got those tuneups and big money fights out of the way , he should have fought marg and/or cotto. they were deserving of a title shot and was the next best fighters in the division and the next biggest money in the division.
Same here bro, when he retired I was shook.
The Marg situation in my eyes turned out to be a good thing, but the Cotto fight went either way. 1 I doubt Bob would've allowed it, 2 tho I wished the fight woulve happend I can't see how Cotto beats that guy. Love Cottto but I never saw anything that convinced me he had the tools, besides that pre Marg body attack, I had Floyd by wide UD.

i don't think either guy could beat floyd. but not the point.

      he should have fought them.

he would made some good money and would have more than likely won anyway.

        Already addressed by others.
Floyd's been at higher weights for far longer than Pac, and he too
has gone the easy tuneup route. We've had to wait far longer on
Floyd to face tough comp north of 140.

        2. My sisters baby daddys cousins broothers uncle says Floyd wants 60/40. Its as good as gold.
Bob Arum says Manny agrees to 14 days, nothing from Mannys mouth but its as good as gold.
The reverse applies to *****s regarding that same set of statements.
Anything from Pac's camp is worthless, and anything out of Floyd's is gospel.
The vast majority of both fighters' fans on BS aren't so gullible, or so ******,
and can filter out the crap.

        3. Tho Floyd has never failed/refused ANY "style" of drug test, he's said to inject numbing agents in his hands. And won't fight outside of Vegas cause its not legal.
(Fact)...... Look up Floyds record, he's basically fought everywhere not just Vegas. He's never said he injects his hands for fights. Besides its not legal to use any numbing agents on fight week.
        But...
Manny HAS REFUSED a drug test, he's never failed a "scheduled" urine test to his credit. But he's 100% clean. Manny is also very comfy fighting in a state that DOES NOT REQUIRE DRUG TESTS, but he is 100% clean.
I don't recall anyone dissing Floyd on the numbing-agents issue until
AFTER he accused Pac of doping. If one side is going to slander without
proof, it's hypocritical to complain when paid back with the same coin.

Manny cheats on his wife... What's that got to do with boxing??????
Floyd owes the IRS, Floyds a dirt bag, he's this and that.............. lol.
Pacquiao's marital incompetence, like Floyd's financial incompetence,
are both unfit for NSB. That said, *****s have gone on and on about
Floyd's financial genius for years, so when news pops up contradicting
their claims, it'll get posted as a counter. Now, I haven't heard ANYONE
lauding Pacquiao as a model husband : on the contrary, he's been
praised (!!!) by too many *******s for his playboy ways, from early on.

        But... here's your biggest misstep:

If Manny beats Floyd we HAVE to put him in ATG statuse
When Floyd beats Manny, well he was supposed to beat Manny he's Floyd Mayweather.
Floyd is held to a higher standard, but he's crippled by the double standards.
Between them, only Floyd is loudly claiming ATG status for himself.
In fact, Floyd has been loudly claiming GOAT status for years.
THAT is why he's held to a different standard, resume-wise.

If harder scrutiny spills over into other areas of his career, it may be
unfair, but then, neither is playing the PEDS card without good evidence.
If he really wanted OST's, his best shot at getting them agreed-to was
NOT by slandering the other party. OST's were just a means to an end
that had NOTHING to do with testing for drugs.

You can't be hurling garbage, and then crying about some of it coming back.

Yeah I agree, a lot of these ppl will believe anything Pacquiao says and treat it like gold. Its because Manny is humble and gives off that "humble nice guy" personal, while Floyd on the other hand..is just always bragging lol
