Weight is just one aspect, I spoke on many. Ur one of the better posters on BS but u only delt with one aspect of what I spoke on.
it doesn't matter what he weighed. either way both guys are too small for 154 really. both are kinda short for the division and neither is a natural 154 pounder. pac has a featherweight frame and floyd has a lightweight frame. neither are really welterweights let alone super welterweights in the modern era.

i only care about the pwill/154 stuff. don't care about the drug testing , infidelity crap.

The P Will issue, doesn't matter what it was, its what it is now. So ur saying Marg is the the guy to fight? 54 we have Angulo, Sergio, P Will not to mention its Sergios belt this fight is for. Even worse its at a *****weight.

And ur first point is what I meant by double standars
well in that case your point on #2 kinda becomes irrelevant then since floyd is a walking contradiction himself without need of any help from rumors and whatnot and Pacquiao has always been a quiet guy who lets his promoter and trainer do his talking for him only to correct them later if they get carried away. it's a wash there.

I never said anything about the margarito fight. I'm just as against it as anyone else and would rather see pac-berto. you yourself are deflecting the argument you were so against by pointing p-will as an example and then all of a sudden getting more specific about it being the 154lb p-will at this very moment.

Very true, both guys are small. I was mainly pointing to the fact that its only Manny that's seen as small.
The outside the ring gossip don't matter to me either, just what they do in the ring, but u gotta admit its shameful Floyds is included but Mannys is excluded.

they were both undersized at 147-154.

the thing is though floyd has been there and done that.

no one minds floyd taking baby steps in the division first.

remember floyd didn't just jump into 147 fighting the top guy right away.

he fought sharmba mitchell. sharmba was past it but he was just trying out a new weight class.

True,..... Floyds 47 was touch and go, his 54 was legit. Plus he fought the guy with the belt, at his weight.

Ok. Well since you brought up things being what they are now. What do you think of the double standard against pacquiao i submitted in regards to the drug testing?

I've always thought it's always only been to slander Pacquiao. now he's never going to be able to live it down no matter if he agrees to the tests and passes or not.

I used to be a bigger fan of Pacman than of Floyd, but lately I really just can find a way to support either. They're both using they're star power to cherrypick at the top!!But it's them both, not simply 1 or the other!!

floyd's 147 campaign at the start wasn't as bad as people make it out to be.

i joke around about it but it's all in fun. the only thing i have a problem with is him "retiring"

sharmba was his first fight at 147. a tuneup for a new division is nothing new. floyd's not the only that has done it. pac fighting diaz his 1st fight at 135 is a good example.

zab just lost but he was still a top fighter and they did plan the fight when zab hadn't lost yet.

baldomir isn't very good but it's not floyd's fault zab's dumb ass loss the lineal title to him.

hatton was the #1 guy at 140 and had won a belt at 147 PLUS he was big money. i don't see why people have a problem with it.

my issue was he retired instead of fighting marg and cotto.

the tuneup with sharmba , the fight with zab and baldo , the big money matches with ricky and oscar...... i'm okay with it.

but when he got those tuneups and big money fights out of the way , he should have fought marg and/or cotto. they were deserving of a title shot and was the next best fighters in the division and the next biggest money in the division.
