A great fight for the fans but I doubt Arum will let Cotto get near a big hitter like Angulo. If Angulo becomes Cotto's mandatory then just maybe it can happen. Arum likes to keep things in-house with fights against JCC Jr. and then Martirosyan in order to always have the winner left to promote.

Honestly, Cotto JCC Jr has mega money written all over it.

Angulo would be like the 4th choice at this point.

HBO could try to flex their muscle to get him to fight Angulo, but they all know JCC jr is where it's at for a payday.

Angulo is very slow of hands and feet, but if you stand in front of him, he will let go 3,4,5,6+ punch quick combinations. Angulo would eat Cotto's punches and keep coming... eventually Cotto would have to stand in front of him and he isn't good enough defensively to block the hurtful punches going his way. Angulo KO12

Tough style match up for Cotto i could see him outboxing Angulo and hurting him at times throughout the fight to a ud or i could see Angulo breaking Cotto down with pressure and stopping him late. Would be a great fight regardless
