Cintron isn't anywhere in Cotto's league and he beat Angulo. Cotto also has Steward in his corner now, he isn't just going to sit down on the ropes the entire fight. Cotto 10-2 easy, he won't KO him but he'll school him.

Great, great fight. It's a toss up at this point. We've seen Cotto pressured by Margarito and Pacquiao, but El Perro is nowhere near as good as them. Then again, Cotto isn't really what he used to be and they'd be fighting at 154. Cotto's best weight was at 147.

On the other hand we've seen Angulo get outboxed by Cintron. While Cintron's boxing ability is a little underrated I do believe Cotto is better boxer.

Again, great style matchup.

How do you know Cotto's best weight is 147? He's had one fight at 154 and he won pretty decisively, granted he wasn't elite competition but neither is Angulo. I just think its too early to say 147 is his best weight class, his punches do seem slower at 154, but he is a lot more active with his feet. His pop also had a lot more power than it ever had and I see him tagging Perro with it all night and that alone will keep the fight at Cotto's pace.

All you did was make my stance even stronger. I agree Angulo is very inexperienced, which is exactly why Cotto would win. Cotto would just outsmart the guy all night.

Cotto can't deal well with pressure, This wouldn't even be a war. Cotto would be backtracking for the last 4 rounds to avoid getting stopped imo. Uppercuts and relentless pressure are the best things to do against Ricans and Angulo is great at it.

His last fight went two rounds and it wasn't because he was so good, he's been brought up a lot like Chavez. He looks good, but when in there with someone who tested him he got lost and Cotto is far, far better than Cintron.

People can't use the Cintron fight.

Angulo was sick and not himself that night and he still only lost by a couple of points.

Furthermore, Cintron and Cotto fight nothing alike. Cintron is a more skilled fighter who uses movement and a jab in a way Cotto cant and also punches much harder.

Cotto is tailor made for Angulo.
