Who gives a ****?

The ONLY boxers that will go into MMA will be the guys who are over the hill, past prime, shot, fat, and not relevant.

Why? Because any boxer in their prime that is any good can get way more money in boxing compared to MMA.

That's why you only see old ass guys like Ray Mercer and James Toney, guys who are shot and have no where to go other than cage fighting.

When was Toney's last PPV? Like 48 years ago that's when.

Paulie Malignaggi will go into MMA. he will try to bring a more masculine look to UFC.

Cotto seems very keen on MMA I'm not sure if he will be the next boxer to go to UFC but I think at some point he might do it.

but what if all of the sudden you get a mega match.......some one in their prime......say this guy

Cotto probably would do well, but in all honesty Kermit would be pretty good over there I guess with his multiple skills. Although I really dont get UFC. Its hard to tell whose winning, sometimes the dry humper is winning and then other times theres a guy laying on him back being dry humped and the announcers are like, 'look at that brilliant anti-hump defense' hes wearing him out. I just can never tell whats going on.

I don't think we'll ever see Top fighters from both sides fight one another (more so Boxers going to MMA). Toney and Couture are both past their primes in both Boxing and MMA. You're not really gonna see The Klitschkos fight Brock Lesnar or Frankie Edgar against Miguel Cotto. If you look at the recent MMA vs Boxing matches, they're comprised of over the hill fighters looking for a paycheck.

Kimbo vs Ray Mercer
Tim Sylvia vs Ray Mercer
Randy Couture vs James Toney

Neither side is going to risk going to the other sport if they got a good thing going on where they're at. Even though Floyd is considered the best Boxer on the planet, you don't think his ego and rep would take a hit if he went and fought Frankie Edgar or BJ Penn in a MMA match and got dominated?
