Fury is the underdog here, last time he stepped up he lost to McDermott and in the rematch he managed to stop him in 9.

Although McDermott was stopped due to exhaustion more so than Fury punishing him. But Fury showed heart in that fight and even though he was gassed quite early in the fight he carried on to get the win.

Even with Fury in shape he might not win.

But if he does get in shape he'll at least have a better chance of a win, if he comes in like he has been recently then he's going to get stopped. Even though he's got a good chin.

this sucks...i like gavern even though he does hold but hes always giving up height & weight to whoever he fights.holmes is nothing but a guy with a built up record vs weak midwest opposition.he's another david rodriguez or carl drumond...nothing but tomato cans on his resume...he did lose to minto by cuts i believe.gavern would have been a much stiffer test.mcdermott is better then holmes.fury will win for sure & i wouldnt be surprised if its by knockout.

But McDermott beat Fury, so Holmes probably will too.
