It's easy to tell you never took a liverpunch...
Segura systematically broke Calderons small body down with body shots for the whole fight, no need to disrespect someone who has a history of fighting (and beating) much bigger and stronger guys for his whole career. The guy is a legend, in my opinion. Also much respect to Segura, very good gameplan and it's not easy to make Ivan Calderon look that bad.

Cazares............. bah all of Ivan challengers were stronger than him most of the time and had punching power but Ivan was the better boxer even Segura admitted this today in Primerahora.com... if Calderon had a punch he would have won that fight.

          Cong**** to Segura.

I don't agree with this post at all.

Calderon did all he could for years with no pop. So what he got hit with a huge body shot.

I think it's a wonder with his physical stature and lack of pop he did so well throughout the years.

And he traded with a puncher when people thought he would run away.

          He didn't.

Add to that, if you keep fighting eventually you will lose to a younger, hungrier fighter.

Calderon was more exhausted than hurt...that last assault by Segura not much landed, Calderon had nothing left, similiar to Cotto.......Miguel took a far worse beating tho

He was in a tough fight and got beaten down by a tough opponent. It happens. Had he gone down without a fight it would be fit for criticism, but that fight was great. No beef with Calderon staying down. Credit to Segura for making him stay down.

She is a Mexican=Puertorican girl and I have her in my avatar as a Symbol of Union between Mexico and PR thats the main reason why I hate when a good fight between 2 great champions gets dirty and full of crap with fans that disrispect a boxer just because he did his best and lost to a great fighter. When Puertorican boxers beat a great mexican fighter we dont come back here to disrispect the mexican fighter this is ridiculous and it is a low blow to the members of this forum that trully appreciate boxing.
