Calderon should be ashamed of himself...

Quitting infront of his people in his homeland, and i thought cotto's knee was worse .

This guy simply quit and didn't bother to get up, this is what happens when you don't take your training serious and take your opponent serious .

    Cong**** to Segura.

Upon further review, he did quit.

He was gassed. They were both gassed, but Segura had more and Calderon just couldn't deal with the pressure of a dude so much bigger.

It could be time for Calderon to retire. He fought well, but I just do not think he can beat Segura at all. The guy's just too much and Calderon aint got the legs anymore.

Segura is a serious threat to an absolute prime Calderon.

Ivan Calderon was a great defensive fighter who could have ruined Segura in his prime. And I picked Segura to win. It's just true. Segura might have still been able to beat him but I wouldn't have picked Segura 4 years ago.

Calderon relied on his speed and legs, and he is 35 years old. Time caught up with him. He gave it his all, he tried fighting out of it, tried (and managed) to hurt his man. He simply got beat by a taller, younger man with better reach and a determined will. Age also matters more in the lower weight classes. Losing happens. In life and it sport.

He has nothing to be ashamed of.

You should be ashamed what do you know about boxing...

He accepted to fight everyone in the division and defended his title with Honor many times and he does not have a punch like his challengers did; he used to win with pure skill you would not even last 2 rounds if you were in the same situation he was....

I hate ****** people like you who disrispect the boxing community and boxers as well

What is funny is that even Segura has more class than his followers... read primerahora.com and you can see that Segura never said anything disrispectful about Ivan. You guys put a bad taste and ruin Mexican's reputation in this forum.

So, Calderon didn't beat anyone great. Meaning that he wasn't great. Then, this isn't a big win for Segura then, right?
