People make the win over Ortiz out to be more than it was. Ortiz showed that he was the better fighter he just fought like an idiot. Maidana is a tough top 10 guy, but he gets beat by Bradley, Ortiz and Alexander and only stands a small punchers chance against Khan.

The awkward, durable Urango can just as likely knock Khan out as Maidana can, and is only about as likely to be outboxed by Khan as Maidana is.

Had to go out so I missed the fight. Apparently Maidana was in a tough fight last night. It would help to get a link for the match. I watched the 12th round on youtube and Maidana looked like a 40 yr old man that had no legs.

Seems to me like he didn't even train for this fight cause I have seen him go 12 rounds with Kotelnik and he finished well in the championship rounds.

I already knew that Maidana wasn't special but people were constantly saying that he belongs there with the top dogs of 140 (Bradley, Khan and in some extent Alexander). I just hope now that Khan-Maidana is most likely to take place on Dec. 11 that Amir will still get his props. But knowing them haters, I think he will not.

Khan should have fought Maidana before he was completely exposed by a shot Corley. Khan will now prey on the exposed Maidana. But Khan was busy fighting little midgets and fighters who can't punch worth a damn like Paulie.

from what i can remember Maidana's agreement with GBP was to fight 3 fights on HBO then fight Khan. Last night was his 3rd fight since that was signed wasnt it (or has it only been 2?) Khan Maidana should be next.
