was worried about this fight, since all the talk was about facing khan in december. not sure if maidana was looking ahead to december but at least khan will be more willing to fight maidana after a sub par performance last night. in fairness to marcos, anything short of a spectacular knockout is subpar considering his last 2 performances on hbo and also from looking at his record. khan and gb now have a decision to make in fighting maidana or once again ducking marcos to try and fight a featherweight. i had my money on the latter but now i got it even after last night

Maidana's 15 are about up,he is really quite average. Khan better be able to beat him or he himself isn't much above average. Cmon brits all I'm seeing from your best is talk, it seems talk fills arenas over there. There truly is only one Ricky Hatton.

Maidana should loose weight and camp as a lightweight if He wants to be a force.

Maidana is Green When It Comes To Boxing Skills??? He is 27 with 30 Pro fighters under his belt, if he doesn't have boxing skills by now, then he will NEVER HAVE THEM, that is just not what he is he is a flat footed slugger...which is not necessarily a bad thing because he could still catch Khan and hurt him, all it takes is one big punch to either drop Khan or even hurt him and slow him down

I don't think Khan would hide behind his Jab and run from him for 12 Round that is why now I do believe that Khan would be him but UD but again all it takes is ONE PUNCH, Corley is tough PHYSICALLY, he always has been, Khan is not as tough Physically as Corley is

This will be a very interesting match up. We all now that Khan has superior boxing skills to Maidana, but if Maidana catches his ass, lights out for Khan. But also, maybe Prescott just happened to throw that perfect punch at Khan that made him go night-night. You never know. I just hope they make this fight, then the winner fights Devon-Tim-winner, and then that winner fights Judah-Kotelinik winner(just wanted to throw that in there, lol).

I could see Maidana dominating 140. Lots of talent in the division, but el chino is unstoppable. Mark my words.
