Boxing is probably IMO the best thing to have under your belt in a street fight. I mean let's be honest, most street fights you will naturally trade fists rather than going for some sort of takedown which you probably get laughed at as being a danm right *****. This just shows you that MMA fans are in there own little worlds that have never understood boxing. MMA fans have no idea about street fighting as most have never been in one themselves for starters! Pathetic.

He's the one saying he'd never lose to a grappler. So he should challenge an MMA fighter/grappler to a fight, but put an arbitrary agreement in place that effectively says "you can't do anything which would actually let you beat me". There's just no logic there.

Yep, but if the legit in shape non washed up boxer fought a legit in shape non washed up MMA fighter my money would be on the MMA fighter. MMA is closer to the no rules street fighting than boxing is, so it's obvious they are going to be better prepared.

The only times I've seen people try to take another person down in a street fight was when they were already getting they're ass kicked and are making a desperate attempt to try and win the fight, or the dude is gassed from throwing too many punches...
