Couture turns out the lights on Toney by choke out. Taken into deep waters Toney had no answer. No jab, no uppercut, no right cross, not even hooks.

I think that with better training Toney would've done better.

I'm not saying he would've won. I think he would've lost either way. But he made some very basic errors that shouldn't have been there after even one month of training. He's apparently had nine months training MMA, so either his coach did a bad job, JT didn't really train much, or (and it's doubtful given his confidence) Toney actually felt nervous/unsure enough in the 'fish out of water' situation that he forgot his training in the heat of the moment and just rushed and made a silly mistake.

It's understandable that Toney would look like a novice compared to Couture. But it's not understandable that he looked like a novice compared to guys who really have had 9 months of training.

That's true i don't buy that 9 months ****. To be realistic he only trained two months.
