Corley's a well schooled veteran man .One of them fighters a prospect needs to to beat to get to the top .Got 330 rounds man under his belt and a former world champ .Tbh tho I think Khan beats Maidana .I see this similar to Khan Kotelnik. A wide decision for Khan .

Not good man not good.....Some of these "tune up" fights these 140 pounders are taking are WAY more competitive then they should be

        This is a bad sign

Maidana knocked Corley down. To Maidana's defence Corley was head butting/low blowing/hugging basically since the fight began. He made it a really ugly fight. And one thing for sure Corley sure as **** didn't do enough to win the fight. He was fighting so ****ing sloppy. Although I don't agree with the overall score cards Maidana def won that fight. Maybe Corley should try his hand in MMA.

I'm not really on the fence on Maidana at all. I think it's obvious what he brings to a fight.

Just go back on this websites video's, and watch the video of him hitting the heavy bag before the Ortiz fight. Then watch Ortiz hit the bag. There's a huge difference in intentions. It's those subtle things that say a lot.

But the more I watch Maidana fight the more I'm convinced. He's a heavy handed beast. It makes sense why Ortiz lost to him now. You're gonna have to be a tough and solid fighter to be able to stand up to some of Maidana's shots if they land clean. You're gonna have to be very tough and very solid.

As for how he'll fair against the other 140lb fighters, I think he's got the best chance against Bradley. Unlike, Khan, Alexander, and Ortiz, I think Maidana is the only one who won't be rattled by Bradley's work rate come the 7th to the 12th rounds.

As for tonight, he passed a good test. Corely and Judah are probably the last of the solid and legit 140lb fighters. So I would call this a nice win for Maidana. He got a tough and solid vet, in a division full of softies.
