I think you guys are missing the obvious. What's Shaw is saying is that HBO may be cutting yet another questionable deal with GBP for December 18 while telling other promoters that the date is closed. Which is ridiculous.

pascal has a built in fan base. most fighters need hbo to promote their fights but pascal and bute would fill any canadian venue. even more so if they fought each other.
