Forget Chris John. At this point, who really gives a crap about him? I can't wait until JuanMa or Gamboa get their hands on him.

Gamboa is very unproven as a world class fighter and still developing his pro style, I wouldn't favor anyone in the world over John at FW still but wish he would be more active and would stop spending his career fighting tuneups.

Sure, but there's one thing separating him from the supposedly 'world class' John - he's actually fighting!!!

I agree John is wasting time now and losing status in the division while young guys are coming up and filling the void at 126.

So was there an official stripping of John's title though?

I never read anything about it.

And I don't think John is all that good either. He nearly went life and death with Rocky Juarez who is a gate keeper with a hard punch. That's it. The fact that Luevano was #2 in the division at one point shows how weak it was until the best guys at 122 moved up.
