I'm pretty sure he vacated it since he wants to stay at 160 and defend there rather than move back down to 154. He had a mandatory he would have had to fight this year and he didn't want to do that.

I thought it's been taken away already. Isn't this the belt that Pac & Magarito are supposedly fighting for?

Shouldn't they give it back since he is likely to be fighting at Jr Middleweight next.

They had a rule that you couldnt hold a title in 2 different weight division from 2 different commisions.

So they gave him a choice, keep the 160 titles or 154 title, so he choice the 160 and was stripped of his 154

He wanted to keep the belt and defend titles at 154 and 160, but he was forced to choose which title he was going to keep.

They were on his ass from the jump about it, the ****** ass WBO stripped him from his title at 160 after a month with no notice, so they can give it to the Jacob-Pirog winner. The WBC forced him to vacate 1 of their belts and he chose to keep the belt at 160. He was willing to defend both, but it didn't matter, Sergio was ****ing with their money.

he vacated the belt he had the option to keep the WBC belt at 154 or 160 since the wbc would make more money for a vacant fight at one of those weights

I thought Sergio would vacate the 160 WBC belt instead to be honest since he is already the lineal champ and ring champ at 160
maybe he was fishing for a Mayweather fight
