To give you guys an analogy....

If this was a video game, Williams would be a button-smasher.

You know the guy who presses a ton of buttons, and just overwhelms the person he is going against. He really isn't knowledgeable....he just presses whatever he can and hopes it works.

He goes on a streak until someone, an experienced gamer, figures him out and exposes him for not having true knowledge of the game.

In similar fashion, Williams mentality is to just throw and throw. Well what happens when he is slowed down and has to think out what he has to throw, and actually pick his shots? I think Cintron rounds 1-3 showed you all you need to know about Paul when he has to do the latter.

This is a solid post. I wouldn't call Williams a button masher, however lol. He adjusted very well against Martinez and took over the fight down the stretch. The Cintron bout is a little overblown. If we were to judge some of Floyd's performance in the first three rounds of a bout we might think he was well on his way to losing too. Williams' mentality to just throw and throw isn't unlike Manny Pacquiao, for instance. No, he's not as cerebral but you get the point. Mayweather would have his hands full because Williams doesn't give a ****. That's a handful for anyone.

Williams's punches are wide and sloppy, Floyd would win. But it would definitely be competitive.

Everybody forgets Mayweather inabilty to fight southpaws. Which is the main reason this fight will not happen. I personally believe Mayweather is a better boxer but styles can make fights.
