If Peter finally has some Cardio then it could be interesting. Peter is the best opponent available so much respect for this fight even happening.

Wlad could not beat a guy like Peter if he stops his clinching bull****.

I guess you think Ali was a pus*y, too, then. Ali clinched more than Wlad does. Clinching is a part of boxing.

Clinching is indeed a part of boxing. But I thought they deduct points for excessive clinching? I guess it depends on the ref. Can't fault Wlad for fighting his fight.

            KLITSCHKOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wlad will KO/TKO Peter this time around. I think a ref stoppage this time is the most likely, Peter's corner will not throw in the towel and Peter knows he can't quit on his own because that would label him a quitter for life, he already had his one time with Vitaly. A KO is possible but Peter is built like a bull, unlike Chambers. A couple of trips to the canvas, Peter gets up disoriented, and the ref waives it off around 6th or 7th round.

A lot of the time Wlad doesn't initiate the clinch. He is always taller than his opponents and much of the time they lean into him to avoid getting hit.

As I said, Ali was the master of the clinch. Watch some of his old fights on ESPN classic and you'll see clinching galore. When Wlad clinches, though, it's supposed to be some kind of sin.

I get the feeling Wlad is determined to end this one earlier than usual.

I hope he follows through on that to shut up some of his critics.

Winning is part of what it's all about. Entertainment is also part of what it's all about. Boxing is a spectator sport, which means if it isn't entertaining, it'll eventually be in trouble.
