PAC's game plan for Marg will depend on if Tony can really hit hard without plaster.

Technically Tony won the fight, disputed as it was... It was just one of those fights that can be judged either way.

Vs. Pac, Clottey was too concerned about his defense and not getting knocked out... I don't think that will be the problem in this fight.

Unlike Clottey, Margarito is gonna let his hands go. I expect him to land 120+ punches on Manny.

I think the times that clottey was able to tag manny cleanly was because manny opted to stand still in front of clottey to lure him to throw more punches. It was more of manny's choice rather than clottey's doing...

Thank god Margarito has more balls than Cotto.

This will be a good fight.

With no running, knees taken, or scampering away from contact.

Very good point. I also believe Clottey did not take one step forward in that fight (other than getting off his stool). Tony is too much of a primate to think of anything other than moving forward, by his choice of course.

Tony's uppercut is the x-factor in this fight I say. If he can somehow cut Manny off and smother him against the ropes and land a few, it can change the fight.

Clottey quit and lost the last 6 rounds easy. On every judge's scorecard.

It's a tougher fight for Pac than people think.
well he was injured which was my point to begin with, sidenote: panda had clottey by a point a draw at best

                yes it was

margarito will be less offensive then u think and his chin will look less impressive then it used to. this judging by his last fight

dont counter with the lay off stuff robert garcia clearly transformed his style. the fact a fighter who always fought without a plan had to resort to plan b against a journeyman really proved that for me

just watch the fight come november and start a thread

I don't have to, you already did

But seriously - What if he does still hit hard and for the first time, Pacquiao is scared and takes one step back. Then another, and another. Confidence is one of the biggest advantages a fighter can have. When your in a ring, it's just you and the other guy. If he hurts you and you don't know if you hurt him, bad thoughts will creep in. I'm sure Manny thinks he can take all of Tony's shots and likewise for Tony. But what if...?

If so, that tall, lanky stalking, non stop punch throwing, body snatching Mexican will have a little edge that can give him a chance to win.

But in the same breath, it can easily go the other way
