PAC's game plan for Marg will depend on if Tony can really hit hard without plaster.

Only difference from that is that Tony will be a comfortable weight (according to reports). He was having problems making 147 for the Mosley fight, made 154 easy for Garcia and when they first announced this fight, Tony's trainer said he was already near 154 and 150 would not be a problem or drain him - Catchweight is max 151lbs.
Tony's never had a great jab but look for him to use it more than he ever has. It will throw Manny's rhythm off, landed cleanly or not. Tony also fights a little hunched over which is good and bad... Good becuase it will make it easier to jab to the body if he goes that route, bad because Manny wont have to reach as high to hit him, thus making his power shots more effective.
I would like to compare this to the DLH fight, but I think Tony may be at a better physical condition at this point and wont be weight drained/dehydrated. And as much as I love Oscar, I'm a realist and we all knew that was on of his worst performances ever - Regardless of opponent. And while we can say it was due to opposition, we have to also be honest and say he wasn't anywhere near good in that fight. The only reason the DLH/FM Jr. fight was competitive was his jab, which he barely used against Pacquiao.
It will be more competitive than that fight in my opinion. Just depends what route Tony takes as a game plan. He better have Plan A - Z.Comment

by a comparison to the dlh fight panda means a one sided beating with tony not being able to get off his punches just like dlh couldnt
in tony's case that doesnt make him weight drained although the chicanos will probably claim he was afterwards. if this fight goes beyond 8 my hats off to tony margaritoComment

First of all, Cintron is crybaby little girl who likes to throw flips out of rings and quit fights because they are starting rough, then complain about the outcome. Cintron probably wouldn't last 2 rounds against Pacquiao before he decides to do a triple gainer over the top rope.
Secondly, I'm getting tired of this being the only thing that Cintron/Cotto fans say. It's like you know something that the rest of the world doesn't know. Like you have a secret organization that investigated and found proof that Tony used illegal handwraps in every fight against them two.
Nobody knows and nobody ever will know or be able to prove it, so just let it go. Your like an ex girlfriend who said I put my peepee in her butt and now she can't hold her **** in. Except I never put my peepee in your butt... But somehow I'm responsible for her damaged anus.
It's probably a bad analogy, but hey, you get it. It's just getting sad that anytime anyone starts a good (or bad) thread about this fight or Tony, first thing that comes out is, "waaah wahhh wahhh, plaster, waahhh, I love Cotto/Cintron ****, waahhh, wahhh.".
Just saying, move the hell on... geeeze.Comment

I hear ya, but DLH was a good defensive, offensive fighter (if that's the right description). Always looking to avoid damage while trying to land punches, a very good technical boxer. I think that may be part of why he was not able to get off. I think we know Tony is nowhere near as skilled technical boxer and while taking damage to give it may be his plan - It may work or it may backfire. We will see.by a comparison to the dlh fight panda means a one sided beating with tony not being able to get off his punches just like dlh couldnt

I said it before, my prediction... If it goes less than 9 rounds, Pac eat's Tony alive. Any more than that, Tony's chances if he's stilll standing and fighting are dramatically increased, and I would say he wins if he's still standing at the end of 12.
p.s. Love how you refer to yourself in the third person... lol.Comment
