He can have no possible affect on the boxing scene now other than cheap exhibitions.

But he should carry on with what makes him happy, I'm just not interested in it anymore.
That viewpoint is 110% fine with me... I respect that opinion, I understand that opinion, I can even agree with that opinion to an extent...

But for some of these posters to **** on him for it?

What does it mater if he fights?

How does it affect ANYONE or ANYTHING?

I love Roy, one of my favourite fighters ever but I am not interested in watching him fight again. He can't pull the goddamn trigger anymore, his confidence is shot to pieces, he couldn't even let his hands go against a 45 year old Bhop. And yet, he keeps fighting (or should that be feignting), and subjecting his fans to ****-fests like the Hopkins fight. Sure, he's not forcing us to watch but the super-loyal ones will continue to do so, and Roy isn't being fair with them.

He will pummel Roy.
        Here's the problem with Kimbo.

After 2 rounds, he's sucking serious wind, and has the defense of a wall.

            Roy fighting is effecting who?

What belt is he holding hostage?

What division is he keeping hostage?

What fights is Roy keeping anybody from seeing?

Most of his **** is cheap PPVs anyway... meaning hes not even taking up network air time.

So why does it matter if he wants to still fight?
Nah man, I agree with you 100%. It's not like Roy needs to be fighting somebody else right now. At this stage in his career if he continues to fight, he can fight whoever he wants and the fans really can't complain.

His super loyal fans... know nd understand... that he's 42 years old... hasn't had an elite win in over 7 years.

His super loyal fans know, he is far past it, can't beat an elite fighter at this stage.

He isn't screwing us at all... we know what he's got left, we know the risk of buying his fight, that it could turn into another short loss, or another long cant pull the trigger loss.

But his super loyal fans... are just that... They take the bad with the good and the good with the bad.. and as long as he decides to fight, they will support him... and they are ok with it.... because at one point in time... he was the best they ever saw.

Thats why they are super loyal fans.

              End of.

I still find it entertaining when he fight's guys like Sheika, Lacy, Badi Ajuamu. If he want's to do it for a few more years or fight MMA fighters moving into boxing why not? I will watch it. If you don't wan't to watch it don't. Look at it as a farewell tour or Joe Louis bum of the month club or something...

One more fight and he's gone. He said this year will be his last. He want to leave the sport as a winner.
