In what is going to be the end of 17-month layoff, Antonio Tarver is moving forward with a planned return to the sport of boxing on October 15, but this time as a heavyweight. Tarver was last seen in May of 2009, at light heavyweight, losing a twelve round decision to Chad Dawson. Tarver turns 42-years-old in November. [Click Here To Read More]

He is still a good fighter and the guys up there will be slower, I want to see how he looks before I judge though.

He's got good skills and i've never seen him KO'd, so we'll see how he takes a heavyweight punch. At least he should be faster than the average heavyweight.

I've always liked Tarver, but he's a guy who loses fights before they ever start. He had some swagger against Jones and Woods, but he looked flat out scared against BHop and Dawson. It was almost like his body language and punching force said "Please don't beat me up too bad"...I wish him luck.

his punching power is near nonexistant as he doesnt step into or put and body into his punches, I can't see him hurting anyone enough to deter them.

Are you kidding me? He got a gift decision against past-his-prime Balboa! He came into that overweight and unfocused.
