Tarver couldn't fight at light heavy and was boring so how in the hell does going heavyweight make sense outside of the division is filled with rifraff like Briggs-Rahman-Tua-Rud**** and Arreola.

Tarver needs to stick to commentating where he does a decent job. I'm sure he intends on winning this cherry picked fight and challenging Adamek, but that strategy won't work out.

Its time for Tarver, Hopkins, Toney, Tua, Rahman, Jones Jr, and Holyfield to hang up the gloves. They all had good, some great careers. Its time to pass it on to the young bucks.

im your age & the reason these guys are still fighting is the division is weaker then its ever been.either its a past his prime guy or a protected euro heavyweight.the only guys that are young with a real chance are helenius & haye, peter, povetkin, adamek, chisora, maybe sexton...the rest are what i said above...old & past their best or totally protected.guys like dimitrenko & boytsov have done nothing to earn accalaides.beat a couple past their best names & they will be up there but they refuse to so why should they be taken seriously? tarver will beat aguilera much like maurice harris did a few weeks back...how far after that is anyones guess.

Aguilera is a decent test for his first fight at heavyweight, don't think Tarver will have too much success at heavyweight though, he doesn't really have the body type to carry too much muscle.

A lighter fighter moving up doesn't need a punch. They can out speed and out manuever any slow un-motivated heavy weight. It's almost safer for them to fight heavyweight. They won't have to deal with any speed or defense. The division is pretty sad. However, I don't think Tarver has the build or body type to make the move successfully.

Hahaha, bollocks. If it was safer they would all be fighting at HW since it's the most prestigious division.
