    I dont care if he's top 4.

Who was the LAST RANKED LHW champion he faced?

Calzaghe? A career Smw.... and he lost the damn fight.

Pavlik.. is a good win.. not great, it was at 170lbs... and he sure as **** wasn't ranked in the LHW division.

To answer your question.. it was Tarver.... FOUR years ago.

    Winning, matters.

I'm fine with him fighting Pascal.. but his ranking in the division is absurd

hehe, that's fine if YOU don't care about the ratings but fighters do. And please don't use the 170 pound pavlik excuse again, we know, for a fact, weight had nothing to do with that dominating performance that was all skill by bhop.

If you don't have a problem with the pascal/hopkins fight what are you arguing with me about? His ratings? Call The Ring Magazine 1-800-846-6438 and file a complaint

We all know Pascal is not that great. Just because your the so called champ means nothing. i saw his fights and he is very athletic but very very limited. Shoty defense, only throws in spurts, and cant handle pressure. All those ranking mean nothing.

same when Mayweather fought Baldomir who was the "LINEAL CHAMP" LMAO

Hopkisn could have fought Tarver multiple times and won easily each time. So waht Mayweather was highly ranked in the WW division for years without fighting a welterweight before Mosley. Who would Calzaghe not have beaten at the weight? I sure as hell think that was more of a challenge then fighitng the Dawson in 2008 who imo lost to Johnson.

Also if it changes your mind Hopkins looks liek he will fight the CHAMPION of the division next.

He doesn't deserve to be ranked that high.

Because he hasn't faced a legit ranked LHW in 4 years, outside of Calzaghe... who was a career smw and didn't even win the fight.

The Pavlik fight was a GOOD win, it wasn't a GREAT win.

It doesn't matter why Bernard won... he fought the MW champion at 170lbs, not to even mention his best win is against Jermain Taylor, and has ONE win above MW, in a rematch at 164lbs.

The last ranked LHW Bernard beat was 4 years ago.

There is only 1 man to beat in every division, and at 175 its Pascal.

            And really?

One of the biggest pile of bullshít in boxing is that "Hopkins wasn't prime when Roy beat him so it doesn't count".

Kindly fúck right off. Perhaps Hopkins wasn't at his peak but it's not like RJJ was at his peak either. In fact Hopkins had fought twice more than RJJ had when they fought. They were both fighting for a World Title, they were beyond "prospects". Hopkins lost because he came across a better fighter (not a more experienced one) and one who proved to be better over the following decade.

I guess Dirrell v Ward must mean nothing too seeing how they both have less experience than Hopkins and Jones did?

It would have been better than Winky at 170, Ornelas, and Roy Jones.

The Pavlik fight is good not great. He gets more credit to me for the way he performed at his age, then beating the actual opponent, someone whose best win is Jermain Taylor and fighting 10lbs above his prime weight class.

I also don't care about your Floyd reasoning...

if he beats Pascal, I'll be the first to give him huge amounts of credit... but don't go into hiding, when Dawson wants his belt back.

I personally do not like the fight, but I have to give Pascal credit. It looks like he will fight absolutely anyone. If I was him I would have ran towards fighting Cloud instead of Hopkins. Cloud is far more predictable. Hopkins is guaranteed to make you look bad no matter what and has a good shot at winning in the process.

Hopkins was the champ two years ago. You don't go from number one to off the list after winning three fights, had he lost again then maybe, but Johnson has lost three times since Hopkins lost the champ possition and he is still rated high. You want him to leave the ranks, Pascal needs to beat him for that to happen.
