yeah how terrible of hopkins. I mean it's not like he was a career middleweight and moved up to LHW at 41 years of age and beat the man in tarver for all the marbles. lol you guys crack me up.

Except in the situation as a mandatory, fighters can pick and fight who ever they wish

I honestly think people are upset because Hopkins has such a big chance of taking Pascals titles and we wont be able to see a Dawson-Pascal rematch

I'm upset because on top of being more dirty than he has ever been in his last couple fights (headbutted Wright and cut him, headbutted and cut inoffensive and outmuscled Jones Jr twice), B-Hop has now found himself acting skills (see Calzaghe and Jones Jr fights), so what do you think will happen when Pascal starts landing his looping right hands and body shots ?

B-Hop will crumble to the floor in (acted) pain
he will also do his best to headbutt Pascal and steal the fight using all the dirty tricks in the book

that's why I'm upset about this fight taking place

I think Pascal can win this fight! Hopkins is getting older and slower by the second and tends to only land 10-15 punches a round now. I think if Pascal can jump in and out against a fast fighter in Dawson and almost outwork him then he will make Hopkins look pathetic in there. We need someone to beat this old racist dinosaur decisively since even Calzaghe only barely won...

Popkins probably will win and get tons of praise but in reality Pascal isn't that good. If he wanted real praise he should fight Dawson. I think the Pascal win over Dawson was a fluke and more so that Dawson gave the fight away more than anything. 9 out of 10 times Chad beats Pascal.

Pascal is still kind of sloppy to me. Hopkins should be able to counter him pretty effectively. Should be a close fight. Interesting if not entertaining. I don't mind it...
