Was told today that Nagy Aguilera has accepted an Oct. 15 fight with Tarver for Tarver's heavyweight debut on ShoBox. But they need a site.

DTM - what weight do you see Tarver coming in at for his heavyweight debut?

    Probably 215ish.

Dan, thoughts on that fight for Tarver? He is so old...

For a first heavyweight fight, it's reasonable.

        (sigh)

I don't know whether Tarver will even be able to take care of Aguilera...

Great news, this will be a good test to see where he is at.

I wonder what he will come in at.

Tarver was 220 filming rocky and he looked absolutely horrible.

Not a bad opponent for his 1st HW fight. But I really don't see the point on moving up really, which relevant HWs could Tarver actually beat?

Exactly. He couldn't beat Chad Dawson. He's not beating any credible heavyweights. Fighting at heavyweight is an excuse for him not to have to make weight anymore. Seen it a million times before. At least Adamek is in the gym putting on muscle. He looks huge compared to the way he was at Cruiser.
