not only the world champions and top fighters but fighters who continue to fight and give their all....imagine how much work must to done for 1 fight..just 1 fight..now imagine that done over and over year after year..imagine the dedication..training can burn any man out and quickly..its painful,hot,depriving...but theres an inner peace you get from it if your MENTALLY STRONG enough..boxing isnt easy..everyone cant do it..it takes a certain breed and i just think fighters deserve more respect than the common person gives them
We should pay more respect to fighters who stay with it

Tell em larry. You go through all that so you can be lucky enough to earn big money and only go to work 2 times a year. Used to be we respected fighters for this now we bash them for it.this thread isnt about that..go flame elsewhere...ever put on a pair of gloves and even sparred??ever ran 4 miles at 4 in the morning??ever had to be diprived of food and train on an empty stomach trying to make weight??ever had to go to a remote training camp and be away from your family??

Not too mention... people don't like that they earn millions..
But when they hit 40 and they have to retire... that money has to last them and their family for the rest of their lives.
It's not like they have a computer programming education and they can just go get an IT job somewhere paying 200k a year.Comment
