Toney weighed in at 237, 20 pounds heavier than his last fight. He's not in shape and the word is, contrary to the BS Dana White has been spewing, that Toney didn't train hard and isn't taking this seriously. White just wants people to believe that Couture will be fighting a supremely conditioned boxer, so he can crow louder when Couture wins. White is a con artist.

Not only that, but he's too far gone to even go in there and just wade in brawling. He can't do that anymore. He's too old and too shot. Trying to set up something the way he would in boxing for a KO won't work because the only thing Couture is going to be trying to do is clinch (ie. take down) Toney.

Think how easy it is for any boxer to get a clinch on Toney now.....If they don't even try to land a punch and only try to get a clinch, even the worst bum could do it to Toney now. You have a guy who is the best in the world at getting in to do just that, only to Toney's shot legs.

This fight will literally be over in thirty seconds. Toney has no hope and everyone but the most deluded, and Toney sadly, knows it.
        Very well stated.

A few different web sources I've read. I didn't know whether to believe them or not, but at 237, Toney matches his highest fighting weight ever. So Dana White's comments about the superlative condition Toney is in are looking like a crock of ****, which isn't out of character for a charlatan like White.

yes but at the same time whenever a boxer said a single word about UFC like when Floyd opened his mouth, Dana white instantly popped out the woodwork trying to get him into UFC because he knew Floyd has no experience with that. But when Cintron went on record all over the place saying the UFC are all bums and he will destroy any of them because he has a strong wrestling background, suddenly Dana White magically became silent and didn't say a word.

When Floyd, boxing's #1 p4p at the time talked crap about UFC Dana White didn't waste a second in challenging him and saying how Sean Sherk would annihilate Floyd etc etc.

However when Anderson Silva, UFC's reigning p4p #1 champion entertained the possibility of fighting Roy Jones, Dana White THREATENED SILVA'S CONTRACT and threatened to ban/sue Silva if he dared fight Roy! It's because White was so utterly afraid that Roy would embarrass and annihilate the UFC's #1 star and p4p champ and then UFC would have no credibility left!

It was up to Toney to train right and Toney treated it like a joke. If anything, Dana is trying to salvage the match.

Face it, Toney played Dana White. I hear he is getting close to a mill for this fight from White. If that is true, White the con artist just got conned.

Toney has made White look like an idiot for telling everyone what great shape Toney was in, when Toney is a blimp and at his highest weight ever.

I would admire what Toney has done if he wasn't giving boxing such a black eye (pun intended) in the process.

Dana is a hustler and a con-man, but he just got played by Toney, who is taking a big paycheck and taking a dump in Dana's sacred octagon. Too bad Toney is making boxing look bad -- otherwise this is getting to be pretty funny.

say the real check is right under 2 mill if you count under table money and Sponsorship.

Don't know if he's getting PPV money. I know Couture and Penn are.
