The real question should be "Whose actually left for Floyd to fight?"

I keep hearing ****** stuff like Matthew Hatton or Nate Campbell, but people haven't noticed that all of Floyd's fights follow a pattern. The fighters he gets in the rings with have to either have a big name, a lot of hype (in some cases they're hype jobs), and/or bring a lot of money. The only time that isn't the case is when he's fighting a tune up, and he hasn't taken a tuneup since he moved up to 147.

Judah: Big name, lots of hype and brought a lot of money
Baldomir: Hypejob, had dominant wins over Judah and Gatti
Oscar: Umm...the biggest name in boxing at that point? lol
Hatton: Lots of hype, a big name and brought a lot of money
Marquez: p4p #2, top Mexican boxer and known for his two wars with Pacquiao
Mosley: Been in the ring with everyone and their mom, lineal WW champ, big name

So whose actually left who doesn't have a fight scheduled already that actually meets those requirements? Campbell sure as hell doesn't meet those requirements, and Matthew Hatton isn't a huge name either. He just lives off of his brother's name. He also doesn't have any significant wins.

That fight died on July 17th (well at least the possibility of it happening this year).

Pacquiao: should be the only person left

Martinez: lots of hype from war with Paul Williams and beating Pavlik. Not a big draw though. Very skilled.

Paul Williams: definitely has a lot of hype. Known as the most avoided fighter. Didn't really look good in his last fight though. Not a big draw for casual fans though.

Andre Berto: WBC champion, but isn't getting a lot of hype and not really a big draw. However, HBO loves him it seems like.

Amir Khan: getting somewhat of hype, but hasn't fought anyone relevant. He is a bigger name though.

That fight would have made more sense on March 13th when they originally wanted to make it, because he was coming off of a very impressive victory over Angulo. However Floyd would get laughed at for it now, since Cannonball Cintron decided to leap out of the ring.

Those are the only 3 really respectable fighters

But i hope its not Berto, that is just an epic mismatch.

Hes not a talker, flashy or even that good
