I love how ricans always use the size of the population as an excuse for having way less boxing champs than mexico throughout history. Yes mexico is 1000 times bigger but the number one sport in mex is and always has been soccer!!, the globes #1 sport. How many world cups has puertorico been in? 90% of mexican kids grow up either playing soccer or working for the cartels lol, so no, a much smaller population is not a valid excuse for being owned by us in boxing history. We have just plainly been better, accept it. But that doesnt mean the tide isnt turning, mexican boxing is at one of its weakest points. I mainly blame it on the amateur boxing program in mexico, its terrrrible!! Thats why u see many boxers becoming pros at 16 with little to zero amateur experience, which is crucial in becoming a world champion. Unlike pr who has a great program.

Your ignorance shows along with your racism. What does "how many world cups has Puerto Rico been in" mean??? World Cups??? Puerto Ricans don't play that ****!!! How many world cups has mexico won against countries their own size??? Not too many!!!! How many mexican basketball or baseball teams have won Anything against anybody? Much less against Puerto Rico!!! How many Stanley Cups has mexico won against countries there same size? You understand now??? Puerto Rico will never win a world cup! Just like mexico will NEVER EVER win a STANLEY CUP!!!! While Puerto Rico as small as it is competes with not only mexico, but the whole world. IT remains a FORCE. Size makes a BIG difference!!! When your bigger, you have more to choose from! Ricans have little to choose from, but make the little they have into GOLD!!! Those Ricans have you mexicans truly worried. thats why your always trying to Down Play the size difference!!!!
