this is a topic going around edmonton.hennessey sports canada has held cards here in edmonton showcasing darrin barker.fury has no opponent for his showtime debut.fields is peters chief sparring partner & its possible hes on the undercard.if that doesnt happen why not make fields his opponent on showtime? highly unlikely but there is a chance this could happen here if hennessey decides to showcase more talent.the winner could get a commonwealth title shot vs sexton or chisora.fields is also in line for a canadian title shot as well...this is just a circulating local rumor but hennessey likes what he saw in edmonton & fields put together a good show vs firtha last year with gavern vs salif on the undercard.gerry cooney was special guest.this would also give henessey canada another chance to showcase more british talent here.canada is part of the commonwealth.

its just a local rumor....nothing concrete...ill keep you posted on any local talk but fields may be fighting neven pajkic in ontario in early 2011.hes #1 contender for canadian title.

that is correct but fury has no opponent yet...id love to see fury vs fields in edmonton.wedding season is over so more local canadian domestic cards are going to happen.canadian middleweight champ & 2 time olympian adam trupish defends vs larry sharpe here next month.sharpe was the guy darrin barker fought here 2 years ago.
