he already is the man at 140 IMO. for sheer boxing skills he is miles ahead of the rest of the division.

agreed. Maidana would be a great win, but he would need to fight one of those two.

no, it's still between bradley and alexander. kotelnik was just a bad style match up for alexander, but atleast alexander didn't get KTFO like khan. if khan fights maidana, that just proves that his chin isn't garbage or that his defense has improved so that big punchers are no longer a threat to him

khan is already the man at 140 (at least in terms of his skill set) beating maidana just further solidifies it

alexander is a hype job who hasn't fought anyone remotely decent and bradley is a tough little fighter but he's limited his best wins are against an old junior witter and holt that says it all to me

maidana is a better fighter than anyone that bradley or alexander has fought

yes khan does have a suspect chin but rather that then not have the skills he has the hand speed khan has is a natural gift

hard chins are not the be all and end of of boxing it's about skills and khan has them in abundance

              1) khan's skill set is not the best at 140 lbs. what khan has in his favor is his athleticism. he's tall for a 140 lber, he's got great reach, and he's got fast hands.

              2) a hype job doesn't KTFO urango, whom hatton and berto could not stop. kotelnik was a bad style matchup and I hope he gets another shot at devon to end the controversy.

              3) maidana's claim to fame is beating victor ortiz (a prospect). c'mon man!!!! you're smarter than that.

              4) with all the skills in the world plus a glass chin, any boxer (even mauhammad ali) couldn't go far with that poker hand. even with floyd's amazing defense, he still get hit sometimes. if floyd had a glass chin, mosley would've KTFO floyd.

He'd have as good a claim as anyone. But i think the winners of Khan/Maidana and Bradley/Alexander need to fight to determine "The Man"
