Maidana is 3 or 4 for me, so a Khan win won't make him number 1.

Maidana hits harder than Holt IMO. But you made some fair points too. But you have to admit that if Amir beats Maidana that Amirs resume is up there with Bradleys resume.

i agree. there is no run away no. 1 jr welterweight. Bradley's resume is not all that. it would be a tough fight for Khan though. Maidana has power. need a game plan and execute it because Khan is improving under Freddie Roach.

IMO a mere con can be no. 1 if:

            1. he beats Bradley

            2. or if Bradley vacates 140lbs weight division.

Depends how he beats him. If its a dominating victory he should be number 1.

Unification win over Kendall Holt + Bradley's body of work >> win over Maidana + Khan's body of work...Maidana might be the man Khan needs to face, but that doesn't mean he amounts to anything more than a creditable name on Khan's record, it just means Khan needs to face him.

Bradley is the best @ 140. Khan's going to have to take it from him, in all likelihood.

I'll say this if Khan(Notice the real name if he fights Maidana)beats Maidana he is deserving of the num 2 spot..As it goes right now Bradley beat two punchers,Khan(if he beats Maidana)would beat one.I still would feel Bradley has the better resume but will admit that Khan is on his way..I will say this IMO Khan vs Bradley is the fight to see and Bradley most dangerous fight at this moment.Devon is good and will give Bradley a good fight but Devon has alot of holes in his game, with no trainer to plug umm up he will sink against Bradley.Khan is the better fighter and the better fight IMO..

Khan has already beaten Kotelnik who beat Maidana who's better than anyone Bradley has beaten. He's #1 now!

No, but he will be very close to Bradley. If Khan wins, Maidana is a better name than any on Bradley's resume. However, Bradley has fought a couple more solid opponents - Witter, Peterson and deserves to be no1.

If it happens, the victor of Khan vs Bradley is the clear 140 no1, p4p top 10, and probably a Mayweather opponent after his next fight.
