I dont see why there is excessive hate for Khan, even if he fights Marquez....eventually he will end up fighting Maidana/Bradley/Alexander next.

There is no way out now....plus the kid is still young, people forget that. So what if they wanna cash in on him for a few years.

from the comments you would think khan is the 3X world champ and marquez is some punk afraid to fight his mandatory. marquez v katsidis is a much better fight to watch and will be just as big as a fight with khan, so marquez comes off good either way. as for khan, i expect a similar press release that states maidana priced himself out as well, nor do i expect anybody who can punch being matched with khan in december. khan has to realize if he wants big names then he has to pay big dollars or euros.

Come on mann, you honestly believe Khan is in control of the financial dealings of this fight?

Even if he is having a say, what difference does it make cause he getting caked either way....it cant be a question of money for him personally. The people budging on the money side is probably his management who probably want as much paper as possible each fight....Khan gets paid big no matter what.

I still dont see the reason for excessive hate on Khan, he has fought outside of the UK once and everybody mad at him for not pursuing a career defining fight at the age of 23.

Another reason why they probably not pursuing Mai/Alex/Bradley next is cause he been with Freddie Roach for around about 4 fights, anybody who saw Khan pre-roach would know his defence was horrible. Maybe that's another reason why they aint rushing the big fights.
