I thought I read something anyway that Khan is like one of these guys that gets a guaranteed purse from GBP regardless of who he fights. I think it's 1 million at least for each fight. Kind of like the deal with Dzinziruk and Gary Shaw (don't know if it's as much as Khan gets though). So given that HBO's budget is stretched thin, and they would have to satisfy both sides that's why we are getting JMM-Katsidis and Maidana-Khan (maybe).

To me if I try to be objective about it I really don't think Khan deserves a bigger split than JMM if they were to fight as it stands. Khan is only known over in the UK and a lot of people that saw him fight in NY were Paulie fans. Khan needs to fucking do something impressive to better his resume if he wants to act like a big shot.

Khan is going to dismantle Miadana, plain and simple. Most people who hate on Khan, just hate him due to where he is from. Dont try and create a fantasy, by saying, "o well Amir is a puss who wants shot, tailor made fighters". Comon.....did boxing become political overnight with Khan?

I like Amir Khan but let's not forget that his chin troubles have not gone completely away. While I believe he has improved as a boxer we still don't know how he will hold up if Maidana catches him cleanly which at some point during the fight this will surely happen!

Maidana will be at a disadvantage in terms of boxing skill and speed but he always has a puncher's chance, especially against a fragile chin like Amir Khan...

This pricing himself out of a fight line has been used before.Katsidis was meant to have priced himself out of a fight with Khan now it is Marquez.Now both are meant to fight eachother,some how I don't see either pricing themselves out of their fight.
