The mast majority of those inside the Staples center were there to see Margarito. He was the main draw/attraction for this fight. He got the s^it beaten out of him and wasn't even competitive against Mosley, but his heart, chin and determination made the fight about as exciting a mismatch as you'll ever come across.
There's no question he's got heart and a great chin.

But I see no difference between what he did against Mosley and what Cotto did against him.

Both fought until they could fight no more.

Margarito, like an idiot, just stood there and got the **** kicked out of him. Cotto took a knee cause he could hardly stand.

Both gave literally everything they had. But one made the choice that could help lengthen his career, and one just took unnecessary punishment so he could maintain his "warrior label".

It's really our fault. These guys get punched in the face for a living for god sakes and we have the nerve to call them cowards and make them take the kind of punishment Margarito took so they won't be called cowards when it could serious damage the fighter.
